You
can find free screenwriting software. They don't have the
extra perks that costlier software have, but if you want to try
out screenplay writing with very little cost, then free is
the way to go. It's similar to what some celebrities have
said about TV shows. At first, they put only a small amount
of money to get a show started. If it's a hit, more money is
poured in. Same with your software. If you find you
will take screenwriting to the "serious level," then you
will feel better buying the pricier ones after trying "movie
script writing" on free software first. There is a
downside. You are basically on on your own with these
software.
These
websites list some software that are free. Explore them at
your own risk. That is, most don't provide technical
support. http://scriptersworld.8k.com/swsoftw.htm http://www.dvshop.ca/dvcafe/writing/formatting.html The
"big" programs offer free downloads for your sample use
